Good morning!

It is a beautiful 7:21AM on a Saturday. I am sleepy, eyelids heavy - but I'm thankful for a new day. So, let's get to it.

Last week, I was in the mall (shocker, send help) looking for a red tunic/sweater thing that I had dreamed up in my head but didn't know actually existed. I was walking past Express when I saw a big SALE sign - everything up to 40 percent off. I don't usually shop in Express but thought - why not.

Well I scored. I found a really cute blue velvet bodysuit and a flirty skirt. Both were on sale. Velvet, BTW is everywhere right now. Just everywhere. And it's fine, because it's soft and warm.

These shoes are from Zara. I bought them last year. They are still some of my favs but honestly, they're not that comfortable so ow.

PS - Don't ever try to take a pic at Atlantic Station. Security says no pics allowed with cameras, only phones (seriously!)

Fun post time! I'm proud I am posting yet AGAIN. Two times in one week, whaaa?!?

A few weeks ago - I found this fun, distressed denim skirt from Zara. It was absolutely unnecessary but too cute to pass up. Plus, it was just $40. I like it because it's a longer-length denim skirt. I believe I'm getting a little too old for mini skirts so this one felt more appropriate.

This BCBGMAXAZRIA crop top was bought in Los Angeles for about $20 a few months back. The store on Rodeo Drive was closing and they were basically giving everything away. Good for me :)

My shoes are Golden Goose Deluxe Brand and the shoes are cutely named "Francy." I scored them 40% off at Intermix. As you can see, they are YELLOW! But they are a toned-down yellow - not very bright. I am so obsessed and can't wait for it to cool down so I can wear them more often! Intermix sold out but you can find them here - on SALE as well

Lastly, my BLANKNYC faux leather Moto jacket. I bought it from Nordstrom a few months back, also in California. I noticed it was part of the recent #NSALE (or maybe it was a jacket that looked very similar). Can't go wrong with a jacket you can get plenty of wear out of. I can't find my actual one but I found one that's even cuter and on sale here

So everytime I come on here I'm like wahhhhh I haven't updated my site in so long. It makes me sad :( I started this as a hobby and creative outlet. And it saddens me that I'm too busy stressing about work to post. I need to be more intentional about doing things that make me happy. Okay - pity party over.

I have so many fun outfits I want to post. It would be a lot of "work" to get them all up so I'll hopefully do just a few favorites.

Is it a little too warm for this outfit? Yes. #DidItForTheGram okay. (However, it has been unseasonably cool in Georgia lately!)

Anyway - if you follow any bloggers, I'm sure you've seen them posting ~~annoyingly~~ in rotation about Nordstrom's Anniverary Sale. #NSALE - Well. I did snag a few pieces. I couldn't get a lot because well, i am not rich. I have two of the pieces from the sale on here. Other itmes remain on my floor at home.

But MUST HAVES were these SPANX faux leather leggings. I'm not much of a jeans person in the fall/winter - I rely on leggings. I didn't use to love spanx because I thought they were too uncomfortable. They were so tight and to be honest, I thought wearing them meant I was giving myself an easy-out of going to the gym! haha. Crazy thinking, which has since changed over the years.

Although a small did fit, I ended up getting these in a MEDIUM. I know I'm going to wear them often so I just wanted them as comfy as possible. PS - I actually got them from Bloomingdales, which was matching the #NSALE price.

This Topshop cardigan is now sold out but I'm sure it'll be back! I love the colors. I love cardigans. I love sweaters. It's just perfect for me. I can see myself throwing it over work dresses in the fall.

My shoes are Sam Edelman and they are YEARS old! They are old faithfuls though. I so love them.

Boheme Top

So I saw this top on instagram - and thought, how cute! I wanted it - but finding it did NOT prove to be easy. Everywhere was sold out. Other prints in the same style were in stock, but this polka dot style was gone. Turns out - Faithfull the Brand is very popular.

After browsing high and low - I found it at a boutique in California. I love them big because they delivered it to my door in like three days.
