Sweaterdress

Good morning!

I'm such a sucker for facebook ads. I always click the SALE ones. So much so, that I've started to X them out and tell facebook "they are not relevant" in hopes of saving more money. Anyway - found this dress through a pop-up from Lord and Taylor on facebook. There are no L&T's here in Atlanta but I remember always going there in Michigan.

It was around New Years Eve when I saw this #RachelZoe dress on sale there. I love patterns and stripes and all things crazy. After a not-great interaction with the sales rep over the phone, I ended up buying it. Long story short - the additional 20 percent off coupon wasn't working and she told me basically "too bad."

PS - the dress runs BIG. Good for eating a lot. Bad for wanting to feel thin.

So I will link a few: Prices vary but I'm always scouring for the cheapest.

Where to start

Spotted this #MaraHoffman outfit online and thought it would be so perfect for New York City. The wool material is super thick and stretchy. I absolutely love the pattern but I understand those who think it's a bit much lol.

Mara Hoffman Bolnisi Rug Knit sweater and skirt. Scarf - $4.00 from Wetseal. (don't judge me for being in there. Had to go for younger sister)

Where to find? Well, a quick google search of Bolnisi Knit will give you a few options. But the Mara Hoffman site is probably CHEAPEST right now.

The back is exactly the same as the front. I'll be living in this while it's cold out.

Fall

Ahhh it has been THE MOST beautiful outside lately. These mid-70s days have been bliss. It makes me feel like a new woman! ha. Ok kinda dramatic. But it has been nice.

I eyed this hat from Banana Republic while I was in Chicago a few weeks ago. But after an afternoon of walking, my feet were too tired to fight other tourists and wait in line to get it though.

So when I got an email over Columbus Day that they were having a *sale*...I instantly remembered 'the hat.'

There is nothing more uncomfortable than wearing a tight hat. I feel that most hats are too tight on my head (so much knowledge stored in here I guess), so when I saw that this hat actually had different sizes, I knew I loved. Large please.

The dress is Haute Hippie. The camo cardigan is a random find from like TJ Maxx and the shoes are Sam Edelman.
