I usually rebel against the 'it' shows of the moment...but my extra free time has me scanning Netflix more. So I began to binge watch How to Get Away with Murder. So far, so good.

I usually stay away from Forever 21 now. I just don't have the patience anymore. But I went with my 13-year-old sister Riley the other day and I'm glad I did! They had sale buy one get one free. So I bought this sweater dress $10.99 and got this button up for free.

I got these shoes from Jessica Buurman, which is based out of Tokyo I think? I don't know. I saw them online and had to have em. I get so many compliments and they're just the cutest. And then my cute Fendi purse. It doesn't go with much but I rock it when I can. I'm not big on purses...I use the same one until it's worn. I need to do better haha

Another Thursday Passes...

Today was beautiful for many reasons, I slept until 10:40! WHA?!?! I never sleep in.

Also - the weather. It was in the 60s, sun was out...just an all-around nice day. I'm thankful.

Figure I would take a break from watching Britney Spears Vegas videos on Instagram (someone please go with me) and do an #OOTD post.

I'm learning so much about blogging. Not much of my stuff is new. It's stuff that's been in my closet! It's been fun to mix&match and piece it all together. I'm also amazed at how much my 13-year-old sister helps me. She's got a good eye and helps me get out of "news reporter" attire that I've worn for years. Nothing wrong with dressing like that, Lord knows I have countless knee-length dresses lol...but her perspective is refreshing.

Ok. So I'm wearing a good ole American Apparel bodysuit. It's one of those items they always have. I got this a few years back and you can still find it here

On top of that, I'm wearing a blanket scarf I got last year from Forever 21.

This skirt is Free People and if I don't wear it with the right stuff, it looks a bit Amish...lol

Happy Friday

Sittin here watching the Flavor of Love marathon on VH1. Hard to believe this show was originally on 9 years ago! I was a freshman at Michigan State University at the time. I loved this show. Ratchet trash TV at its finest.

Fun Fact: I was the secretary of my dorm's Black Caucus. I bring that up now because I remember we had an event where we watched the Flavor of Love season finale. Why Lord?

Anyway - cold weather lately in the ATL. Windy, cold, rainy, etc..

But today - the sun came out. I wore this oversized faux fur vest from a local boutique. Got it on sale so that's always nice!

These shoes are so dang comfy. I got them from SAKS off 5th. Again, on sale. They are Kenneth Cole.

Jeans are from Zara

Feelin Blue

This weekend has been jam packed, only because #IfGathering2016 was Friday and Saturday. I'll blog about that soon, my first ever Christian conference I attended (via livestream)

But for now, I'm trying to relax. And it's Superbowl Sunday, so that helps...

This dress is one of my favs...I can wear it to work with a blazer over it or just like this when I'm out and about.

Soooo
